Burcu is experienced in advising clients on the sourcing of their broader technology requirements and the implementation of digital transformation program, as clients seek to harness the opportunities presented by new technologies in areas such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.
As well as her expertise in deal structuring and negotiation, Burcu regularly advises her clients in relation to project implementation and transition issues, contract management and the re-negotiation of the projects.
Burcu’s areas of interest include managed services agreements, outsourcing, e-commerce solutions, labor law restructuring processes, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, smart contracts, data protection and data privacy.
She also brings strong project management skills to her work. She supports her clients through the full lifecycle of their project, from the initial tender and vendor selection process, through the contract negotiation phase, to ongoing contract management and renegotiation, and ultimately to termination and exit arrangements.
She is advising start-ups from their establishment processes in order to find and implement the most appropriate legal structure for their business needs.
Burcu regularly runs training sessions with clients and participates to webinar events on key trends and developments across technology sector.
Prior to TBL Legal, Burcu has worked in different leading law firms and global IT companies where she had different positions, including regional responsibilities, particularly in Middle East and Africa, as well as francophone countries.
Burcu had graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law. She speaks English and French fluently.

Çağla concentrates her practice in general corporate representation, mergers and acquisitions. She handles all types of business transaction, including corporate governance matters and commercial contracts.

Pınar has been working as a faculty member in the Civil Law Department at Bilkent University Faculty of Law since 2017.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Bilkent University Faculty of Law, she completed her graduate and doctorate studies at Ankara University Faculty of Law.
She is a member of Blockchain Turkey Platform, Istanbul Blockchain Women's Association and Zurich University Blockchain Center. As a member of the European Law Institute, she actively takes part in the Consultative Committee on projects titled “Blockchain and Smart Contracts” and “Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Algorithmic Contracts”.
She is the director of the research project titled “Legal Analysis of Smart Contracts with a Focus on Dispute Resolution, Protection of Personal Data and Consumers” supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.
Pınar has published books, editorials and articles in the fields of international sales law, comparative contract law and tort law. Her research in recent years has focused on contract law, tort law and personal data protection, as well as the legal effects of emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technology.

Bensu is a licensed attorney in New York and Istanbul. As a commercial counsel to prominent high-growth companies in the US (Figma, Notion), Bensu drafted and negotiated complex, non-standard agreements governing innovative products and addressing cutting edge legal issues.
She advised commercial sales teams on deal process and contract management, where she was also responsible of finding legal tech tools that solves the pain points of clients. She provided legal engineer services in which she re-designed her clients’ contracting preferences throughout their lifecycle with the help of innovative technology solutions.
Bensu is also the co-founder and co-CEO of www.onedocs.com, Turkey’s first venture backed high-growth legal tech SaaS company, offering document management solutions to its customers.
After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2013, Bensu completed her LLM in Information Technology Law at Istanbul Bilgi University (2016) and another LLM in Law, Tech and Entrepreneurship at Cornell University, NY (2018). She worked in different inhouse and outside counsel roles in various law firms and companies. Bensu currently represents her clients at J&O Law PLLC in NY, manages operations at onedocs and provides legal operations consultancy services at TBL Legal.
